What you're actually getting
Ten carabiners. Screw-lock closure. Up to 30 kg per clip, apparently. Colourful enough that you can colour-code your kit if you're that sort of person (no judgement, honestly). They're not climbing-rated, so if you're picturing yourself dangling off a cliff face, these are not your mates. But for hanging a dry bag off a rucksack, clipping keys to a belt loop, organising gear in the garage, or keeping a toddler's bag closed? Spot on.
The honest bit
I chucked a couple of these on a hiking daypack last summer. One held a water bottle carrier, one clipped a small torch to the outside. Neither budged. The screw collars are a bit fiddly with cold hands, which is worth knowing if you're heading somewhere properly chilly. Not a dealbreaker, just something to be aware of.
The 30 kg rating sounds generous for something this small and this cheap, and I wouldn't test that claim with anything precious. But for light-to-medium everyday use, they do the job without fuss.
Who should bother
These are for the person who keeps meaning to buy a handful of carabiners and never quite gets round to it. Campers, festival-goers, cyclists, parents wrangling too many bags. Ten is a lot, which is either brilliant or means you'll be finding them in jacket pockets for years. Personally, I think that's fine. At this price, there's very little to lose.
