Small but actually useful
Right, so 280ml is not a lot. Let's be honest about that upfront. It's roughly the size of a standard flat white from your local cafe, maybe a fraction more. If you're the sort who fills up a 1-litre bottle before a long hike, this isn't your thing. But if you commute by tube, keep a bottle on your desk, or just want something that fits in a jacket pocket without looking ridiculous, the size suddenly makes a lot of sense.
Personally, I think the sweet spot for this bottle is the morning coffee crowd. You brew at home, pour it in, and it's still warm by the time you reach the office. The double-wall vacuum insulation on something this small is a bit of a pleasant surprise. It won't keep things hot for six hours, but a couple of hours? Spot on.
Where it earns its fiver... well, its seven quid
No BPA, stainless steel construction, decent build quality for the price. It's not a Hydro Flask. Nobody is claiming it is. But for seven pounds, it's genuinely not half bad. The assorted colours thing means you might not get to pick exactly what arrives, which is a minor annoyance if you're particular about that sort of thing.
Reservation worth mentioning: the 280ml capacity will frustrate anyone who drinks a lot through the day. You'll be at the tap constantly. Also, no straw, no carry loop on some variants, so check the listing before buying.
For commuters, desk workers, or kids' lunchboxes, it's a solid little buy.
