At this size, you'd normally be looking at £700 to £900 for anything with QLED credentials. Xiaomi is undercutting that hard, and the spec sheet holds up on paper: 4K QLED panel, 120Hz refresh rate, Fire TV as the operating system. Fire TV is genuinely decent too, with solid app support and no faffing about with missing streaming services. That alone puts it ahead of some cheaper smart TV platforms that feel abandoned six months after launch.
Where the compromises likely live
Here's the honest bit. QLED at this price almost certainly means a VA panel rather than IPS, which gives you better contrast but noticeably worse viewing angles. Fine if you're sat directly in front, less ideal for a wide sofa arrangement. At 75 inches, that matters more than people expect.

The screen real estate for the money is hard to argue with. For a primary lounge telly where you're watching films carefully, you might find the picture processing slightly flat after a few months.
