The gum you already buy, slightly cheaper

Look, nobody's getting excited about chewing gum deals. But Wrigley's Extra Peppermint at £1.50 via Subscribe & Save is the sort of thing that just makes sense if you're already picking up a bottle every few weeks. The 46-piece resealable bottle is properly handy, fits in a bag without exploding foil wrappers everywhere, and the peppermint flavour is solid. Not too sharp, not that weak spearmint-adjacent stuff. Actual peppermint.

Personally, I keep one on my desk. After lunch, before a call, whatever. It's become a bit of a routine thing without really meaning it to be.

Who this is actually for

If you chew gum occasionally, this probably isn't worth subscribing for. But if you're a regular, the Subscribe & Save route makes it borderline automatic, which is half the appeal. The xylitol is a nice touch for your teeth, dentists seem to approve of the stuff, and sugar-free means no guilt spiral after a long afternoon of chewing.

Honest reservation: there's no dramatic discount here. No "was £3, now £1.50" situation. The value is purely in the convenience and the fact that £1.50 for 46 pieces is a fair price for a reliable product.

Worth it?

For regular gum chewers, yes. It's not half bad as a Subscribe & Save staple. Just remember to cancel or skip if you end up with a drawer full of the things.
