The sour hit is real
Let me set the scene. You crack open the pouch half-watching telly, grab a handful, and within about four seconds your whole mouth is doing something it wasn't expecting. Crazy Sours are properly sharp. Not novelty sharp, not that fake tingle you get from some sweets. Actual face-pulling, saliva-spiking sour. It fades into the usual Skittles fruit sweetness, which is fine, but that first hit is the whole point.
The flavours are the standard Skittles roster dressed up in sour coating. You get strawberry, green apple, lemon, that vague orange, and the one everyone argues about. Nothing exotic. Personally I think the green apple is the standout, it leans into the sour thing better than the others.
Who this is actually for
Kids, obviously. Teenagers with a high pain tolerance. Adults who grew up on Warheads and feel nostalgic. If you're after something subtle or grown-up, these are not it.
At 68p for 136g, there's basically no risk. You're not committing to anything. The Subscribe and Save option knocks it down further to around 64p, which makes sense if your household gets through these at any pace.
Honest reservation: the pouch isn't resealable, so once it's open you're finishing it or finding a clip. Minor complaint at this price, but still.
Stock on deals like this tends to disappear quickly, especially once HotUKDeals gets hold of it and the heat goes past a thousand. If you want them, grab them now rather than later.
