What you're actually getting
This is a Masterplug cable reel, 10 metres long, four sockets, rated at 10A. Nothing fancy. The kind of thing you see coiled up in sheds and garages across the country, powering a drill one minute and a radio the next. The blue and black colour scheme looks vaguely industrial, which honestly suits the use case pretty well.
It's listed as Used - Very Good or Used - Like New through Amazon Resale, so you're not getting a sealed box. That is worth saying plainly. For some people that is absolutely fine. For others, buying used electrical kit feels a bit iffy and that is a fair position to hold too.
Who this is actually for
If you're setting up a workshop corner in the garage, doing garden work where the sockets are nowhere near useful, or just tired of the extension lead you own being two metres too short, this makes a lot of sense. Personally, I'd have no hesitation using a Masterplug reel bought second-hand if it shows no visible damage. They're a solid, unglamorous brand.
It's not for anyone who needs surge protection, or who is running sensitive electronics off it. It's a workhorse reel, full stop.
One honest reservation
You can't physically inspect it before it arrives, which matters slightly more with electrical items than, say, a used book. Amazon Resale returns are covered, so the risk is low, but do give the cable and sockets a proper once-over when it lands. Check for any scorch marks, frayed bits, or dodgy socket faces. Takes about 30 seconds and it's just good sense.
