What you actually get
Ninety-two pieces sounds a lot until you open one of these kits and realise half of it is plasters in three different sizes. That said, General Medi have put together a reasonably sensible selection here: adhesive bandages, gauze pads, antiseptic wipes, a mini scissors, tweezers, a small emergency blanket. Not a trauma kit, obviously. But more than the bare minimum.
The case itself is compact, fits in a glove box without drama, and has a proper zip rather than the floppy velcro flap you get on the really cheap ones. Small win, but you notice it.
Who this is actually for
Honestly, this is for anyone who doesn't already own a first aid kit and keeps meaning to sort that out. You know who you are. Parents with young kids, people who do a bit of hiking, anyone running a small office with a legal obligation to have one on hand. At this price on Subscribe and Save, it's basically impulse-buy territory.
If you're a serious outdoorsy type or a first aid instructor, you'll want something with more substance. The components here are basic. The antiseptic wipes are fine, not impressive.
One reservation
The actual medical supplies are pretty entry-level. I wouldn't rely on this kit alone for anything more than minor cuts and scrapes. Think of it as a starter kit, not a replacement for proper training or a well-stocked home kit. But for what it costs, it fills a gap that a lot of households have been ignoring for years.
